Southeast Texas has been home to my family and I for many years. I was raised in China, TX., and attended Hardin Jefferson ISD, graduated from Lamar University, married and raised two sons. My husband, Michael Ballard, works in the petrochemical service industry, for Heatex Industries Inc. and my sons, Aaron Ballard and Braeden Ballard, are both graduates of Hardin Jefferson ISD.

I am a dedicated, active community member and I have served on the board of the China Elementary PTO, and Henderson Junior High PTO for many years. I have also been an adult leader for the Lucky Clover 4-H in Nome, TX. and a member of the Texas Brahman Breeders Association.
